Structural Inspections
We conduct Concrete Structural Inspections up to 1.0m depth to provide accurate information including;
- Rebar Diameter and Depth
- Concrete Cover
- Voids Beneath and Inside Slabs as well as Block Walls
- Post Tension Cables
- In most cases can detect both Top and Bottom Reinforcement
- Depth of Slab
- Ultrasonic Thickness Testing of Metals
- Surface Hardness Testing (By Rebound-Schmidt Hammer)
- The location of Structural Beams

In most cases inaccurate record keeping of Structural Plans means that there are no accurate evidence of Structural Elements in the concrete. A Ground Penetrating Radar ( GPR ) Structural Inspection can take the guess work out of decision making. We provide detailed Structural Reports ensuring you have the necessary information you need. |

Below is a scan of a suspended slab showing the depth and shape of the structural beam with the position of the post tension cables at the bottom (4 off). This scan was to determine the presence and location of the structural elements as no plans were available to assess the structural integrity of the beam.
